Recorded over a period of 5 years, postally and in the presence of each other, Latvian Black Balsam sees Alexander and Samuel Merrick making some songs using all of the detritus they can lay their hands on, such as; ukulele, electric guitar, dump guitar, accoustic guitar, nylon guitar, egmond, bass guitar, an array of cheap and nasty keyboards, the ass-station, spoons, an old electric church organ, banjolele, pound-shop recorder, baritone ukulele, drums, lumps of percussion, mandolin, bertha and of course their strangled and tortured voices.
